Mitchell Kander
Mitchell Kander graduated magna cum laude from Loyola Marymount University. After attending Whittier College School of Law, he began his practice of law with a firm specializing in representing employee unions and individual employees. Mitchell has experience in every phase of employee representation, having spent the last 30 years as an ALADS attorney. He has participated in countless investigations, Skelly hearings, and Civil Service Commission hearings. He has pursued grievances on behalf of members before the Employee Relations Committee. He has represented deputies in restraining order hearings, sought reinstatement of firearms privileges, and provided representation at the scenes of officer-involved shootings and in-custody deaths. Mitchell is a client-focused attorney; he is concerned about his clients as people and stays in touch with them, helping to navigate through the investigation/disciplinary process.
